Father-Daughter Dance

Last Saturday was the Father-Daughter dance at Kate's school.  Dave and Kate almost did not go just because there was so much going on that weekend (Kate's birthday party, recital and Mother's day).  But Kate really wanted to go so they went for a little while.  Kate LOVES this stuff.  She had a blast! And she won the hula hoop contest!  Go girl!

I did not crash the dance this year (like I did last year) but Dave texted me a few photos. It looked like they had a great time!  It was an under the sea theme and Kate really enjoyed a boat ride they had.

 I got to hang out with a friend for dinner, wine and a movie instead:)

    They are so adorable. Good for your husband for taking his little girl to a dance. I think it is a wonderful thing and the pictures look amazing. It also gave you some time to hang out with friends and take a break from being mom.
