I have a friend who wants to remain somewhat anonymous but she desperately needs A LOT of prayer. My friend has been diagnosed with a terminal illness that has no treatment and no cure. She has a loving husband and two young children. She has been told by her doctors to put her affairs in order. So, please pray for "S"and her family.
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26
I will pray for peace for her and a miracle.
ReplyDeletePraying for your sweet friend during such a scary time! May God grant all involved peace and comfort. And of course, I have to say, I believe, whole-heartedly, God is a miracle worker.
ReplyDeleteO LORD my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me. Psalms 30:2
I'm so very sorry to read that. I will pray for her and her family.

ReplyDeleteSending her prayers for strenth, peace and faith.
ReplyDeleteI will be happy to pray for your dear friend. Prayer is both the least and most we can do...easy, but powerful. I am standing in the gap, praying strength, peace and healing over "S". I will continue to do so~
ReplyDeleteMy prayers are with S and her family.
ReplyDeleteLoved your post on Will, I hope that my own little man grows up to be such a sweet, intelligent and responsible young man!
Kim, I will be praying!
ReplyDeleteWhere some have said "there is no hope", God is the one who "gives hope'. In that alone...I lift this family up in prayer to the Almighty Physician. Although "anonymous" to us, this famiy "story" is WELL KNOWN by God.
ReplyDeleteSo it is written, He knows, He cares, He restores, He heals. So it is with the "S" family He has enveloped them in His care.
Just closed my eyes and prayed for peace for the family! Please keep us updated if possible.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear this news. Prayers for her and her family.
ReplyDeleteI will be in prayer for your friend. Something really reached out and tugged at my heart about your short but sweet post. I have experienced first hand the ," no chance" diagnosis for my sweet baby girl. Four years later, she is still here and the light of our family. Praying that it will be God's will for her to grow old with her husband and watch her children grow. Xoxo

Post-it praying!!!!!! I am in and out of my pockets all day at work. I wear scrubs and am constantly reaching in my pocket for an ink pen. Years ago, my mom told me that if I knew of someone that needed prayer, to write their name on a "post-it" and place it in the pocket that I reach in/out of a million times a day. Every time I feel the post-it, I say a prayer for the person. It sounds juvenile- but feeling the post it, is a constant reminder of the heavy burden that someone is carrying and that they could use my prayers.... all day long. Putting "S" and her family on my post-it tomorrow.
