Kindergarten Feast and Cotillion Ball

Yesterday was Kate's school kindergarten feast.

All dressed up in the morning leaving for school (see? it is till dark out!)

They had turkey, ham, rolls, veggies, fruit and pumpkin pie with whipped cream)

All the kids wrote on their placemats what they were thankful for....

Kate's actually says "everybaby" but we're pretty sure she meant "everybody":)  

Everybody is hard to spell when you're only 5;)

Kate was so excited that Daddy was there!  She is giving him funny face kisses.  She calls them "bubble kisses!"

I love the lil turkey hats!

Also, last weekend was Will's Cotillion Holiday Ball.  I bought him his first boutonniere last year and wanted to get him another this year.  I suppose starting next year (in high school) his future dates will get him the boutonniere!

Parents were invited to come at the end of the ball to waltz with their children.  

Will is a good waltzer.  Me, not so much:)

Today, we did our annual tradition of going to see Santa (lots of photos to come) and we had lunch as a family.  It was perfect.  I feel so thankful for a loving God, an extraordinary family, wonderful friends and good health.
