Last Sunday we lost power for the whole day. It was rainy and dark and the boys all went to the movies. After a few games of Candy-land and go fish, I had an idea. I asked Kate if she wanted to play in a bubble bath. We have a huge window over our tub and the light was beautiful as the cloudy day provided a beautiful soft filter. I took a ton of photos and Kate had a blast playing. So here is my favorite from the set....

I found your blog quite accidentally months ago, and yes, I continue to stalk it a lot, because I absolutely love all of your snapshots! And these ones! Sweet mercy, but is she ever one beautiful little girl! I don't know how you ever make it through an entire day without pinching those cute cheeks plum off! (Is that something we mamas develop as we age? The uncontrollable urge to pinch the cheeks on cute kids? I never wanted to do that to a child when I was twenty-two, but now! Goodness! I could do a whole lot of pinching now, exactly like my great elderly aunt used to do when I was small.)
