A few years ago when we first moved back here from Virginia, I found a place called Dewberry Farms. We spent a day there and picked our own pumpkins off the vine. It is kind of far away and we have not gone back since then but we went this weekend.
This is not just your quaint little country pumpkin patch (although I wish it were).
It had all sorts of things for the peanuts to climb on

And swing from....
Harry was SO sweet with Kate the whole day.
He is an incredible big brother (especially when Will is away).
and ZIP from...
and ride
and jump on...
and shoot
Harry LOVED shooting the corn cob cannon!
They also had a water bottle cannon. He was a great shot.
Okay...we did get pumpkins too but that is going to have to be a part 2 for the next post because I am sick of uploading pictures tonight.
P.S. I used Florabella's new actions (Classic Workflow) on some of these photos. They are the BEST actions (created by one of my best friends)! You can click on the link below to get your own set.
And you can see more Sunday Snapshots here...
Fun Kim!! The kids look like they are having a blast!!
ReplyDeleteI have to share...I am SO excited to won a spot in Lisa's "Get out of the Auto Zone" class!! I am curious, what lens did you use to take these pics ?? and what is YOUR go to lens??
xoxo
We love Dewberry farms too! we go every year. Love the kettle corn!!!Great pics looks like yall had a great time. I thought about going tomorrow, but i'm sure it will be packed!!
ReplyDeleteThat looked like lots o fun.
ReplyDeleteWow, what an elaborate setup they have there. It looks like fun, but kind of distracting. I remember when just going to the patch to pick your pumpkin was excitement enough, and then the "good" places had a hayride and a maze made of corn stalks. Those were always so thrilling. I guess I was an easy kid to please :).
ReplyDeletePS The little icon that you have next to the URl is very sweet.
Looks like LOADS of fun! Kates dress is adorable!! Great pictures of the kids!!!
ReplyDeletePS Love Florabella ANYTHING!!!
Love the pictures. And I am "crushing" on Kate's adorable dress. Can you share where you got it from??
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to enjoy some fall fun. Looks like it is still pretty warm though. Although, I would gladly take that over the cold, rainy weather we have in-store in the Pacific NW this week,
What a great pumpkin patch!

LOVE these shots - especially Harry's GENUINE smile with the corn cannon. Looks like tons of fun.
ReplyDeleteWell it looks like we might have to come to TX for some Texan-style pumpkin-pickin 'cause my boys would LOVE that place!! Especially the zip-lining and the rope-hanging!!
ReplyDeleteSuch great shots, Kim ~ I really like the one of Harry on the rope bridge and the one of Kate swinging, so fun! Kate's pumpkin dress is so cute too, I can't believe how tall she is getting!!
