Three years ago, Will got to go to sleep away camp with school. I remember being a nervous wreck. We were new to the school and Will had not gone away for any sleep-away camps yet. Now, it is Harry's turn. Luckily, both boys have spent some more time away at camp so I am more relaxed. This is a great opportunity for the 5th graders as it is through the school and it helps them spread their wings before middle school.
So, this week nature is their classroom. And it is a great week here for that. We FINALLY got a cool front and the weather is fabulous---cool and crisp at night (40's and 50's) with highs in the low 70's during they day (that is as fall-ish as it gets here!)

Kate was NOT happy that her beloved "Habu" was going away for a few days. She does not like when her brothers go away.

ReplyDeleteYou can just see Harry's beautiful spirit in his eyes! He's one sweet, sweet boy. I'll keep him (and you) in my prayers. I, too, live with a very serious and very complex medical condition. It's amazing, though, how powerful something as simple as prayer can be. Keeping you all in my thoughts and wishing you the best.
ReplyDeleteWe thought of you guys every time the monorail took us past The Polynesian. I can't believe that was already a year ago!
ReplyDeleteI love the last picture of Habu and love that Kate calls him that.
Talk to you soon.
God bless Harry and the whole family. Praying for you!
