3 Peanuts: It's the little things...

I have been in such a good mood the last few days. I am working a little bit again doing marriage and parenting coaching and I am really enjoying it. But mostly what has put me in a good mood is that it finally feels like FALL here! I have gone on some walks, helped a friend with a fall craft (monogrammed pumpkin) and thoroughly enjoyed the crisp weather!

Also, Kate and I have had fun trying out our fall fashions. We are gaga over our faux fur this year.

Oh and the boots. I have finally gotten to wear my boots and I LOVE them. I highly recommend Frye. Once I could wiggle my feet in them they feel like they mold around them...so comfy. Zappos had them here in no time (like a day) and exchanged a pair for me quickly and easily when I needed to.

I have been able to just sit on my front porch with my feet up in the sunshine (sun flare all natural).

YEA for Fall, so glad you are able to enjoy all the goodness of the season ~ and those boots and vests are definitely goodness! :) Frye boots are the best and Kate looks adorable in her furs. I have one like the little Gap one that I LOVE ~ I really like the Old Navy one too!

Glad to hear that you are doing parent and marriage coaching again as I am sure you are great at it. For a long time, I have thought it would be really neat if you did online marriage and parent coaching, maybe through a dedicated blog. You could get people to sign up as members (and pay a fee) and then let people anonymously ask questions and all of your readers/members could benefit from hearing the answers you provide. I think that you could offer so much information with an emphasis on the things that you have experience and strengths with from not only your college studies and previous work background but also from your experience with nutrition, adoption, parenting your own children, raising a multi-racial family, etc. I'd be the first to sign up!

Kate looks just like a little alpaca! :) And she looks so grown up.

We're celebrating our 70-degree temperatures and I'm clinging to my flip flops with every ounce of my being. The other moms were actually making fun of me at pick up today and I didn't care one bit.

Your boots are darling. I was recently at TJMaxx and they had piles of Frye boots -- not your cute ones though. There was a gaggle of us digging through them but I never did find a pair in my size.

She looks so adorable in her fur and I love your boots! Lillie has a little Gap fur vest from last year that I love and was so excited that it still fit her when we tried it on a few weeks ago.

I spoke to Grace about her suggestions for starting Kate on American Girl. She sat down with the catalog and a purple note card and went through it all thinking about how best you could get "value for your money"....her words, not mine. We put our heads together and this is what we suggest....

Bitty Baby starter collection ($118), Bitty Baby Crib ($60) and Crib bedding ($20). We also suggest one more bitty baby doll outfit. As well, we don't go for the matching outfits but Grace has really enjoyed the big girl matching pajamas. Good luck!

I REALLY want one of these vests for Christmas! I love the boots also but I must make a choice! lol I hope I can find a good deal when we come to Texas in just 23 more days!!!
