Last week, I took Kate to the butterfly exhibit at our science museum (the boys were in other camps).  We purposefully chose colorful clothes hoping that a butterfly would land on Kate.

And after sitting very still on a bench for a long time watching all the butterflies fluttering by, one DID land on her...

She was really hoping one would land or crawl on her finger like the last time we were here but no such luck.

We spent a lot of time just watching all the beautiful butterflies.

Almost all of Kate's clothes sold within minutes. Thank you SO much.  I hope your little girls enjoy them as we have.  There are still a few things left if anyone is interested, click here.

    Looks like a really sweet place to spend some mother daughter time!! Kate looks beautiful in her bright dress & headband! Glad she at least got the butterfly to land on her!

    The one with her with the butterfly in her hair looks professional. Actually all of them do! I have always thought you should "go pro" with your photography! All the activities you have done with your kids this summer inspired me to take Brian to the Field Museum and a big music festival called the Dave Matthews Caravan. It was really a fun time both days. Good memories made. Hugs to you!

    These pictures are SO incredible Kim! Kate is such a gorgeous girl. You'll have to tell me what lens you shoot with now! :)

    Oh, and the item I loved must have been gone in minutes! I always love the MJ stuff...snce we don't get it here. well, we could, but the shipping is so ridiculous!

    Madeline LOVES butterflies too. I hope Memphis will add butterflies to the zoo again soon. You all look like you had a wonderful time!!! Great pics!!! Meant to tell you thanks for the recommendation for The Swan House. It in now one of my all time favs.... sad it was over!! Just started Saving CeeCee Honeycutt, love it so far:)

    What a fun place! Kate looks so taken by the beautiful butterflies!

    That Hazy SOOC shot is FAB!! I love the light, but I also love her adorable expression!

    I am so bummed that I have not been logging into my google reader the last few days.... I saw all the cute things you listed and would have tired to grab a few things for Reagan, but it seems as though, I am too late:(

    Ok Kim, you have outdid yourself on these pictures! By far, these are the most beautiful pictures! These pictures are gorgeous!! Watch out NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC!! I just LOVE.LOVE.LOVE. the one with the butterfly on Kate's bow!!! Ok...can you tell I'm a little excited!!! You gotta share what lens/camera you shoot with!

Been meaning to write you for days but with the photo shoot it was just total insanity and I was going bonkers with all I had to do :) I did not see your email on here or I would have written this and sent it to your inbox... :) Glad you identified with that collar bone post as well.
