First, he opened a card with some $$ from Mimi in it. Thank you, Mimi!!! That made him smile. Then, he opened a spy gadget recording pen from Aunt Doonie and Uncle Moon and Ashton that he LOVED!
Kate made him something at school and gave him some Cupponk balls for his Cupponk.
She was telling him secrets and kicking up her pink cowboy boots which she only wants to wear when they don't match her outfit.
Then came the BIG present. The present he has always wanted but I have been too cautious to buy....
An electric scooter!
And off he goes.
Will gave him a new helmet (Snickers, our new puppy, snacked on his old one).
Harry rode the scooter for just a minute outside but it was dark so I did not get good photos...
Then we went to our favorite little neighborhood Mexican restaurant for dinner...
As an aside...Kate made a menorah at her pre-school (it is a Jewish school). She has been bugging me for candles so I finally got some and she lit them tonight--which I think is the last night of Chanukah. She was very excited. She know she is Christian but she loves to teach us all about the Jewish faith too.
Here is the flip video...it is so cute....
