And here is what it looks like now....
And this little desk is where I blog:)
And this little desk is where I blog:)
We had a great time at Roundtop yesterday. I took some photos that I will post here next and my friend and I found some neat things. Of course, I am really regretting one thing I did not buy.
And...NO it is not always this neat:)
P.S. The paint is Pratt and Lambert Antique White but it is not their current formula of Antique White. A few years ago they changed their formulas but they will still mix this old formula for me. It looks yellow in these photos but it is not. It is a cream/off white.
I bought the fabric locally but I found an on-line source here.

Hope this is not a repeat - got an error last time I tried to submit.
ReplyDeleteKim - the drapes and your office are gorgeous! Looks like a magazine! Wish you could come help me decorate my house! Thanks for sharing, Wendy
If you hadn't posted those garage pictures I wouldn't believe you when you said it doesn't look like this all the time :) I am sure it does about 99% of the time :) Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHave you been to Canton? I've never been to Roundtop, but I'm sure it's fabulous! If you've never been to Canton you should take a friend for the weekend-it's my favorite place in the WORLD! Just go ahead and rent a Uhaul if you go. Let me know and I'll meet you there :) We plan entire trips home around 1st Monday :)
Like out of a magazine! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWow -- so lovely!! Love it! Would you mind sharing what brand and color paint you have on your walls!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you found at Roundtop!

ReplyDeleteYou have a gift....You could start your own business...and if you need someone to try it out on - come on up to Ohio!!!! I have NO - as in ZERO, ZIPPO, NADA, - gift for decorating. I am so jealous of those that do!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!! I do not remember those french doors into the other office... Your LR/Office looks gorgeous!!! And, stop it.. It IS always this neat!

Hugz.
Wow!!! What a FABULOUS room!!! I am having envious thoughts over how perfect it is. Incredible! You are so gifted!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the sweet comments.
ReplyDeleteJennifer...I do keep the inside of the house rather neat and tidy. The garage is my husband's domain which is why is has/had gotten that way:)
Glinda...Those chairs were actually a package deal when I married my husband. He already had them. I would like to re-upholster them someday when it is in the budget. The lines and nailhead details though are lovely though. And while I don't love the fabric, it is quite neutral and has worked in many homes and rooms over the years.
The office turned out awesome!! What a fun space to have for yourself. xxoo
ReplyDeleteKim!!! Kim!!
ReplyDeleteShut the front door! My jealousy is insane right now over this space! I absolutely love it, lady!
Your desk is perfection. I love the pictures of the kids that you have on it!
Happy Thursday :) xoxoxo

Your home is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with your house!
ReplyDeleteAnd the fact that your husband had those chairs is impressive. I am lucky if a guy I dates has different furniture then what they had in college!
You are a beautiful decorator! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteWow! You did a beautiful job!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Tracy
Oh my goodness, I gasped when I saw the after picture! It is beautiful - just like a home from a magazine!
ReplyDeletelove your office!! You have a very good taste!! Your little girl room its so cute too!!
ReplyDeleteI think you will show us the rest of your home!!
gorgeous! I love all the details!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteWould you mind sharing where you ordered your window fabric from? They are beautiful!
PS I am envious that you can have such light colored furniture in your home and it still looks nice. I kid you not when I tell you my oldest carved his name with his fingernail into our new leather sofa when he was young! We stopped decorating for a while :) 3 more children and an aging jack russell later, we have just started decorating again. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I can keep it 1/2 as well maintained as you keep your home. It's truly lovely!
What a gorgeous room! Please come do my whole house!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty room!
ReplyDeleteWow!
ReplyDeletei love it kim, it looks so inviting and ready to sit and blog away!! i hope you found so good finds at the roundup:)
ReplyDeleteYour little office? Oh Kim, you are too funny! When I look at the paint peeling on my dusty desk I am a bit envious... Again, it looks like a spread from Southern Living...good job!

ReplyDeleteThat is such a beautifully relaxing room. You have a great eye.
ReplyDeleteBlow me away gorgeous! looks straight out of a magazine.
ReplyDeleteLove it, Miss Kim!
ReplyDeleteWould you share the paint color? I have been actively trying to have my husband see that a pale yellow can be a neutral.
Thanks for sharing!
I love when you do design posts!
