just melt my heart.
Kate climbed into my unmade bed and wanted to snuggle/tickle. We snuggled, cuddled and laughed for a while and I decided I needed to grab my camera because it is THESE moments I never want to forget. So, I was tickling her with one hand and snapping away with the other....until she told me to put the camera away and just tickle!!!!
Oh and my new living room drapes are finally done!!! It took me almost two years to find a fabric I loved enough to have them made. It is a pale blue-green linen with an ivory quatrefoil. LOVE them. Now I just need the rods to come in so we can hang them.
Several people have asked me about this fabric. I found it and bought it locally but I have found it online for anyone who is interested in it here. I paid approximately the same price per yard.
I will post of photo of them in the room once we get them hung:)
Finally, my friend Kim is selling her beloved camera, a Cannon XTI, some lenses and accessories for a GREAT price. She is selling them to help bring two beautiful teenage boys home from China to join their loving family. She has a HUGE heart.

ReplyDeleteThose are definitely the moments to hold on to. Kate looks so very happy! You did an awesome job picking out the drapes. It is such a tricky decision to make...it can change the entire look of the room! I think we changed our drapes 3'x when we first got our place before we found something we loved!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, it is those special moments of sweetness that will always be remembered. Cute photos! Love your drapes!
