NOTE: In real life I think the pink stripes are much more pale and subtle. They seem to photograph a little deeper in hue.

My sweet, sweet husband Dave did ALL of the painting and hung everything on the walls. If you ever do stripes, we highly recommend "frog tape." It leaves super crisp lines. There was no bleeding at all. After many many color changes and all of his hard work, Kate told us she did not like the stripes and wanted her room gray again. Needles to say, she has come around:)

Here are two short interviews with Kate. In the first, she is pretending to be a silly robot (par for the course). In the second she is a little more herself:)

I tried to include sources. However, if there is something I left out, please feel free to ask in the comments.

The paint colors are Benjamin Moore (Eco Spec Paint no VOC) in Chantilly Lace and Powder Pink. The framed botanicals above the bed are from MacGregor Antiques in Charlottesville VA.
