In the Jungle

Thursday, May 27, 2010
It is the last week of school for the peanuts so there have been a plethora of activities that have prevented me from blog time. Anyway, here are the photos form Kate's dance recital. She was SO excitied. She ran into our bedroom Sunday morning saying (shouting), "Is today my recital Mama?"

Her little class did a tap routine (very brief) to In the Jungle... They were lions...

Daddy gave Kate flowers after the performance. She was SO excited. She LOVES the flowers Daddy gives her.

She was so tuckered out that she fell asleep holding her flowers on the way home in the car:)

Here is a video of the dress rehearsal (it is about a minute long).

And here is the actual recital (Kate is 3rd from the left~she gets turned around a bit;)

After the recital she said, "Mama, I LOOOOVVVE being on the BIG stage!"
Uh-oh.

  2. How adorable! She is so precious!!! Can I ask you what type of camcorder you are using? My daughter's first recital is coming up next month and I am in need of a camcorder.

As for your post above about summertime blues...I don't get those, but I know many people that do. Maybe you guys can learn a new skill together? Paige and I are taking art classes together this summer. Good luck and hope you find some fun things to do with the peanuts!

  34. Sooo much fun to watch!! Meggie's recital was May 22nd and she still talks about the "big stage" as if it were yesterday. If I download some video, I will send it to you. Enjoy the start of summer. I am so jealous! Our children don't finish school until June 25th. I look forward to a break in the routine (but I am sure I will be looking forward to the routine once again in September!). Stay cool! Michelle and Meaghan Grace
