Warning...a little Mom bragging below!
Even though he has only been at his new school a few weeks, Harry won the Spelling Bee for his grade. He cannot compete in the school wide Spelling Bee until next year but he will get a trophy for this year's accomplishment. He seems to have a natural affinity for spelling and won in Kindergarten too! In fact, one of my very first posts was about that. We are so proud of him!

We love spelling bees around here. My Anna Kayla was our spelling bee queen. She competed with 4th-8th graders when she was in the fourth grade and won our district spelling bee! We couldn't believe it, then she went on to compete at the state level up until she was in high school!!

What an amazing accomplishment for Harry! Especially after just starting at the new school. Tell him to watch out for "friend" in the 2nd grade. I can still remember misspelling that one in 2nd grade, though I am sure kids today learn it much earlier ;)
Also, I know this is a bit random, but I was watching Stepmom the other night and could not help but think that the adorable little boy in that movie looks like Harry. Has anyone ever told yall that?
