A special visit!

Sunday, March 2, 2008
The Pixel Fairy Princess and her adorable royal subject, Li Li are visiting us this weekend so there is not a lot of time to post. As you can imagine, LOTS of pictures are being taken. The King of our castle (Dave--who refers to himself as our houseboy) is doing all of the cooking and cleaning (and some childcare) so we can indulge in our passions of photography, shopping, digital scrap booking, talking etc. Here is a little peek at what we've been up to...

I know this seems like a lot of pictures but you have no idea how many we have taken. The above photos are courtesy of Debbie, Kim and the houseboy.

Since the Pixel Fairy Princess did not give up blogging for Lent, I am quite certain she will post some pictures and pretty pages this week.

  7. How neat that Debbie and Li Li could visit your family this weekend. I just recently found Debbie's Pixel Fairy Princess blog through yours, and I LOVE the digital scrapbooking she does. I'm inspired and want to learn how! Too bad I don't live closer to you girls. Loved all the pictures.

It's March, so that means in just a few short weeks you'll be posting more frequently. Yeah! Hope you have a great week.

  8. You are definitely the hostess with the mostess...not to mention a fantastic houseboy (he reminds me very much of the one I was lucky enough to snag).

The pictures--exquisite. I especially love the one of Scout, very artistic and the ones of the 3children by the fence and the next one of LiLi by herself.

    I've been waiting all week...;)

My husband was working around our house ALL day; touch up painting, tree trimming, making lunch etc... while I was engrossed in my book. After reading your blog, I started calling him "houseboy" too.

I am getting your quilt pieces this week. I found a beautiful fabric/quilting store. I can't wait! Save a spot from Katie's Nanfang buddy in Denver!

  21. This looks like so much fun! We had a similar week/weekend...visited with family and friends we don't get to see often. Landree played outside a lot at both grandparents houses. I took a digital scrapbooking class and learned tons of quick tips I didn't know! It was awesome! The lady told us something and I thought of you. There is a site called scanmyphotos.com (I haven't looked at it yet) that will scan 1000 4x6 photos and send them to you on a cd for $20 until March 15th. I know you were scaning in your old Christmas stuff. I thought you might be interested! Have a great week!
