I have resumed work on the homecoming video. However, it is going to take me a long time to finish it. Right now, I am trying to find some music. I know one song we will use (I can see clearly now) because it has special meaning for our family. And I have a few others in mind. However, I am searching for more. If you have a song you think would be great for an adoption homecoming video, please comment. The video will cover a tiny bit of our family before Kate, the waiting, her referral, the China trip, homecoming and a little life at home.

Kate looks adorable (as usual :) ) in her new Matilda Jane shirt! I must visit the MJ booth at our local art fair next summer!!!

ReplyDeleteI have a good friend who adopted from China in May. She and her husband are going through a rough time with their little girl not sleeping at night. I remember you going through something similar, and wondered if you would mind telling me what you tried that might help her. I would appreciate any suggestions that might make this time easier for her. Thanks Kimber!

Love the Matilda Jane shirt! Everything they have is so cute. Sarah wore her new MJ dress to church Sunday and got a lot of compliments on it. I actually ordered a cardigan from the holiday line today.
ReplyDeleteLeslie's CDs of adoption music are great -- I'm sure you'll find all the songs you need on them. My favorite right now is "I Wish I Could Save These Moments" (it's track 8 on the 2nd CD). Good luck with the video -- I'm sure it will be worth all the time.

I just love the cute smock tops with the jeans. Mia wears little smock tops all the time and always gets comments. I just love Kate's top. It is adorable. I have never looked at the Matilda Jane clothes. I will do so becuase I just love kate's shirt. She looks adorable.
