Can anyone help?

Now that I have watched the video of Dave meeting Kate for the first time in China, I am dying to make her "homecoming movie." I have been practicing first on a "Summer Fun 2007" video and I have it finished except for the music. I am using Windows Moviemaker but I cannot import music. I am trying to import songs I downloaded from Itunes but I cannot even put a CD I own on it. I am getting really frustrated. I am SO open to any and all suggestions fellow blogger people. Please help:)
See if this helps. It is a step by step guide to adding music to your moviemaker video.

Ok the whole thing didn't copy. I'm going to email you the link right now. I wish I could help but as I said in my email I only know how to work with imovie. Sorry. You know I'd help in a second if I could.
ReplyDeleteHope tonight is a better night.

I wish I could but I am impressed that you can even make the movie! Danielle will be doing mine!

I had the same problem.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Sheryl from Our Red Thread Journey could give you an answer on how to do it. She has a video business. I am sorry you are havig trouble. I remember spending hours on it myself before giving up.
Sheryl (Linzi's Mom) is awesome with the videos and I know her and she would be a great help. I will tell you that we had to convert I-tunes stuff to wmv (I think ~ Ian did it) before we could get the music on there.
ReplyDeleteI have never used Windows Moviemaker or I would LOVE to help - so sorry - I do hope you get it figured out. When I am stuck - I usually type in what I am looking for on Google - you might try that.
ReplyDeleteHey did you get it working? Ian knows that program like the back of his hand and I will ask him when he gets up. We are not going to mass this morning because Dan has to work. He went by the firm on Friday afternoon and they gave him an office action with the PTO that he has to have done by tomorrow! Call me if you want help and I will ask the expert :D Can't wait to see the video!

Hi Kim, I am a novice at it but I downloaded music from my cds onto my computer. Then I was able to import music for the movie maker. It sounds like you have already done this so I don't know why it won't work. Can't wait to see both movies!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove ya

I don't know anything about videos. I would love to see your videos of Kate.
ReplyDeleteHi, you have probably got this all figured out now, but just in case thought I'd chime in. To use music from ITunes, you need to convert the files to mp3. To do that you have to burn the music files to a cd first then rip it. Hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteoMQmRy Your blog is great. Articles is interesting!
