I am really proud of Will and Harry. We missed the beginning of swim team this year since we were in Houston. They missed swim shape camp and the first two meets so they have been a little "rusty." But when we got back, they made a commitment to try their best and practice everyday. They have worked really hard. It has been a hard swim season for both of them but I am really proud of their efforts. They will both swim in champs in a few weeks.
The photos I am most proud of though have nothing to do with swimming. My friend, Amie captured the shot of them during the national anthem. The boys had no idea she even took it. Dave and I were nowhere near the boys but I am SO proud that they stopped and paid respect to our country. I see so many people who do not take their hats off or talk during the national anthem and it really bothers me. I am glad that my boys did what they have been taught even though"no one was watching."
I also LOVE the photo of Will congratulating Harry after his freestyle. My boys fight like all brothers do but they truly are best friends and they cheer each other on. What more could a Mother really ask for?
Too cute! I love the pictures of Harry and Will together.

Awww...too sweet. You are obviously doing a great job mommy!
ReplyDeleteYou have raised fine boys. Very respectful. You should be so proud mom.
ReplyDeleteI also love the 2 photos you mentioned...so sweet.
ReplyDeleteThe pics of Kate are great too, of course.
Beautiful children, Kimber!
What great images! I think it is in those momments when we see our children make the decisions we would want them to make, with out the promping and hinting that we realize how truely proud we are of our children. I had one of those moments myself this weekend. Reading your post made me smile :D
ReplyDeleteI love these pictures too. My favorites were the two you mentioned and the one where Kate's little hand is on her brothers back and Harry smiling doing the back stroke... and the one... lol they are all so wonderful. You should be very proud! What dedicated boys they are to work so hard and I love that they are Patriotic when so many are not.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to get together next month and take lots and lots of pics.
Yea to the boys for being such hard workers and for being dedicated especially after starting a bit late! I love the picture of Harry looking up at you while swimming, what a smile1! And also the one where Will is congratulating Harry, that's precious!!
ReplyDeleteGood job Mom and Dad in teaching them respect for our country, you should be proud of them!
