Littlle Miss Kate ate almost an entire grilled cheese sandwich at the famous Lucy's. For those of you about to travel to China....Dave claimed that the room service food at the White Swan is much better tasting if one is craving American food.
At the zoo. Dave said Kate was not too fond of the stroller but she fell asleep after a few minutes of fussing. She slept through most of the zoo. Will has his bathing suit on as shorts because it is very hot and Dave did not let me pack shorts for them. He was buying Will a pair of shorts in China.

Dave found this sign very intriguing. They did not eat there.You might be wondering about the title of this post. This morning I heard Kate Emerson say "Dada" on the phone!! She was repeating Dave but still...it was amazing. When he told her to say Mama, she said, "ka." She has the sweetest little voice I have ever heard. She eats very heartily. Dave said she takes an 8 ounce bottle upon waking. Then, for breakfast, she eats an entire bowl of oatmeal, a bowl of cooked carrots and a hard boiled egg yolk.
Wow. What a great appetite. My sunshine ate like that too at that age, and still goes to this day. I have no idea where she puts it, but she eats very very well!
