The Big Picture

I m working on a post about Dave's party but wanted to share this with you right away.



Tonight HBO is premiering a documentary called The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia. It airs at 7p.m. or 6 p.m. central and it is one hour.  I have not seen it yet but I heard that it is excellent and that anyone who teaches or works in schools should see it as well as parents.  It also talks about gifts of dyslexia from what I understand.  Given Kate's recent diagnosis and our meeting at her school tomorrow morning, I am very excited to see this tonight.

P.S.  I am praying for and thinking of all my East Coast friends and family and hope that you stay safe in the eye of Sandy!!!

    Thanks Kim. We now have POWER! We were blessed and only lost it for a little over a day. No other damage. Yay!!!

    We would have loved to watch the show. Thanks for the information. I will check with my local programming to see if they will run it again.
