Will's Graduation

Wednesday, June 6, 2012
Last week, Will "graduated" from middle school.  Although middle school is only 3 years this is the longest Will has ever been at a school due to our moves and timing.  Kate and Harry were at their last day of school.  So, it was just the 3 of us for his graduation.

You can see here that he gets those good looks from his handsome Dad!

And just to show you how tall he has gotten... He is taller than me even with high heel wedges on.
That is TALL in our little family!

The actual ceremony was in a huge field house and there was no way I could get a decent photo of him walking across the stage for his diploma so I did not even try.  But I did catch one with the House Principal and one of his favorite teachers....

(he is already untucked!  BOYS!)

After his ceremony, Dave went to work and Will and I went out for lunch and a little shopping.  It was really nice to spend some time with just him.  That is rare these days as his social calendar is much busier than it used to be.

Will graduated with honors and we are very proud of him.  I know he will do very well in high school.

Also, he passed his driver's permit test today!  We cannot go get the actual permit until his birthday (2 weeks from now) but he has the passed certificate!

P.S.  I want to thank everyone for the VERY supportive comments yesterday.  It looks like a lot of us are in the same boat and that is comforting to know.  I promise to update y'all as I go along.  So far, so good.
