First Love

A reader left me a comment tonight about her struggles with adoption, infertility and miscarriage.  As I watched the video she directed me to, my heart broke for her and her husband.  They are finalists in a contest for a round of IVF.  They have had 5 miscarriages, 3 failed adoptions, 5 unsuccessful IUI treatments, and the tragic death of a full term baby.  I cannot imagine such pain and loss.  Although I do not know Melissa and Hong in real life, their pain deeply touched my soul.  Please take a moment to watch their video (it is under 3 minutes) and vote for them.  Just imagine if by voting for them, we could help bring a child into their lives.  I have faith.

You can watch their video here and then vote for Melissa and Hong.  Thank you.

  3. Having experienced the gift of donated IVF medicine myself, how wonderful to have an opportunity to pay back in a very small way.

Thank you for the opportunity to help them, even if it is only through a vote.

I pray for fertility and for their yearning hearts, for their is no greater gift than that of a child. I pray for the same for each and every famiy showcased.I pray that their arms be filled with the warmth of a child. If that gifts come from her womb or that of another, I find comfort in knowing that God has special plans for each one of them. God Bless.
