{It is chilly here this morning so she was holing her jacket closed}

Go Texan Day is HUGE here. I have such fond memories of all the kids dressing up in the younger years. The trail-riders are making their way into town for the Houston Rodeo today.  Luckily, they ride right by my peanuts school and we all go out to watch them and cheer them on.  All the kids at school (well not Harry) are dressed like cowboys and cowgirls.  It is so cute.  And even though I lived half my life in Pennsylvania, I realized I have now lived almost half my life as a Texan too!  I think it is high time I got myself some cowboy boots y'all! (I still don't have  pair!)  Here is a sneak peek at my lil cowgirl...

{It is very windy so immediately after Dave took this shot, my hair went into a sock bun.  I am kinda addicted to them}

Will even got into the spirit and wore a navy gingham shirt and jeans.  He looked so GOOD! But you know he is almost 15. So, there was NO way he was letting me take his photo!

More photos after the trailride!

Happy Go TEXAN Day!!!!

  13. Awe- your little cutie looks precious! I couldn't get my little one to wear her Frye boots today but she's wearing non-cowboy style boots at least. It was such fun to see all of the kiddos in their Western duds at school this morning.
    I've got my favorite cowboy boots on today!!

    Love that pic of the two of you.
