Thank you!!!

Thursday, December 15, 2011
Thank you so much to those of you who have gone over to leave Karen an encouraging word or words.  I cannot than you enough.  My husband also traveled to China without a spouse when we adopted Kate and from what I hear, it is an extremely emotionally and physically draining thing to do.  And our circumstances were totally different.  Anyway, please continue to visit her blog and leave her some love.  I wish I had a moment to post video or photos of all that is going on here but I have not had any time. I was up at school ALL day today.  I work tonight and I am up at school all day tomorrow again.  I do feel very blessed that I can be at all the school activities this week but I have some major blog post catching up to do this weekend and/or next week:)

I guess I could show you just a few photos. Remember a few weeks ago, I asked y'all for some pine-cones?  Well last weekend, we painted them white and silver and glittered them.  We have hung some on the tree and placed the others around the house.  They turned out SO beautiful!!!  Thank you if you sent me some:)

We put on our messiest clothes and it was a good thing we did!!!!

Like our glittered manicures?  Maybe we should have worn gloves?

Somehow Kate got silver paint on her face and in her hair!

We had a lot of fun and I love my very sparkly pine-cones.  They glisten unbelievably!

  5. Love this idea! Now a future post should be on "how you manage to remove the glitter and silver spray beneath your nail beds! :) Glitter is by far the hardest thing to get off the skin! I usually "sparkle" for days it seems!

    The orange crocs are priceless!!
