A picture is worth a thousand words...

I only have a second but I wanted to share with you that our friend, Karen has her daughter, Cami!!!! In case, you missed the story,  Cami was severely burned as a young toddler and has been an orphan in China for the past seven years.  Our amazing friends are adopting Cami and bringing her home where she will have surgery to be able to live a life full of love!  This story is one of faith and love and God's grace.

These are the most beautiful photos of pure love.

You can follow Karen's blog here.  Please pray for them and go leave them some love in the comments.  Karen is traveling by herself and I know she could use some encouragement:)

  1. are they in Guangzhou? The pillows look familiar. I will have to pop over to her blog to see. We just adopted our daughter from Guangdong in August. Your children are beautiful. I found you through Glinda's blog. Her girls and my daughter are from the same SWI. How cool is that?

Just makes me bawl like a baby to see that love in her eyes.

  18. I have to confess....I open this this morning and was just overwhelmed with tears of joy and praise, so much so that I couldn't even comment at the time. Most of us "readers" are mother's and we know the love we have for our children, we know how we hurt when THEY hurt, we know how we soothe their tears and their fears. To know that precious Cami will have all that and more just fills my heart with immense JOY! We saw us PURE and UNBOUNDING LOVE unfold right before our eyes...it is just POWERFUL. Combine that with the love expressed in Karen's beautiful post and it's just fills my spirit to no end. What a truly, truly beautiful story.

There is NOTHING like the love of a MOTHER. It is so very apparent in these wonderful pictures. This is one of the most beautiful adoption stories ever. Thank you Kim for sharing such a beautiful story of a very beautiful little girl and her awesome mommy. Cami we GIVE THANKS for you, we WELCOME YOU, and we SHOUT PRAISES FOR YOU.

God's Grace and Mercy is never ending.
