3 Peanuts: Fiesta

Last week, fellow blogger and China adoptive Mom, Debbie sent me a message that she would be in town. So, we met up with Shelley, Libbie, Hoot and Lambert and Debbie and Darci along with Cindy and her lovely family at a favorite Mexican place last week.

Kate did the chicken dance with the mariachi band while we waited for our table. It was so cute:)

Kate was the oldest and I think she really enjoyed that role.
She is usually the youngest with our crowd of friends.

After many years of blogging in the adoption community, it was so nice to meet Debbie and Darci. They were just delightful. I did not know Cindy's family but they traveled with both Shelley and Debbie and they were really lovely too. And of course, we always enjoy Hoot's family. We are so blessed to have become friends with them!

Mrs. S-- My navy top is from Target (The Calypso line) and to others.... thank you for the compliments on my hair. I just had it hi-lighted and I think it looks too light so the kind words really made my day.

What a precious meeting! I love getting to know fellow bloggers/people in the adoption community and getting to meet in person? What a treat! I can see how Kate would love being Big Sister to these girls! She is such a leader!

I'm glad you had such a good time with them! It's amazing the support group your families have and I think it's amazing. I never realized the adoption community was so strong (especially adopting from China) and I love hearing about it.

Secondly, what a fun dinner with new and old friends!
The girls are all precious!!!!!

Wish you were up at the cabin with us... The Turks were asking about you! It's a gorgeous weekend.. I loved seeing your pics from 2008.... So many great memories!!!!

Today is our official 7th anniversary of becoming a family with Kate. We will be having our reunion on August 6th-I LOVE catching up with the families and ADORE how the girls always naturally get along and play with each other like time has never passed them.
By the way, your hair is at a perfect length! Love it! Also, do share where you purchased that adorable navy shirt. I am also blonde and have just discovered (at 39 no less!!) that navy is my color! Would love to add that tunic to my little collection...

Thanks again for meeting with us. It was such a pleasure to meet your sweet family and to finally meet someone I have talked to through a computer for several years now. I can so vividly remember following your journey while I waited. You were such an inspiration and to know that your Kate was from the same province as Darci was extra special.
