Happy New Year!
I am cleaning out my photos and decided (as I have seen other bloggers do) to post a favorite shot from each month of 2010. These are not necessarily my best photogrpahy shots but they spoke to me as I went through each month. It was hard to pick just one because some months I had lots of photos I loved and some months I had none.
January
February
I am not sure I ever posted this shot but found it in I-photo. It is Chinese New Year. Dave made homemade Chinese food (soy free...H is allergic to soy). I love it.
March
These are my juicing ingredients (kale, cucumber, celery and apple). I feel so great when I juice. MUST begin again!
April
Kate and Harry out on Uncle Joe's boat.
I love the colors of this shot and I love how Kate is touching Harry's arm. She loves him so much!
May
Harry is praying in the dugout at his playoff baseball game. I know technically it is not the best photo and it might be better if he were in focus and the fence was not but I still like it. I love that Harry is confident enough to pray like that in front of his teammates!
June
This was a tough month because there were lots of good photos (unlike Jan and Feb). I had some great ones of Kate's party and a neighbor's party. Ultimately though this is my favorite of our whole family.
July
August
I had to choose this special photo of the "sister-friends" from our beach time. It was so special!
(oops I just realized I did not take --this Di took it:) So, here is one that I took...
September
I have much better photos of Will but apparently I barely took any photos in September and this shot is of Will going to cotillion so it makes me smile.
October
Kate Emerson dancing around at the Mickey's not so scary Halloween party at Disney.
November
I just love everything about this shot.
December
Again, not technically a great photo BUT both boys were sick the other night and Kate was really worried about them. So, she knelt in front of the fire and prayed. I grabbed my camera. It was very dark. I just love the sentiment.

I started a 365 yet again this year. Maybe the third time is the charm right? You can follow it here. Hopefully, I will get a makeover on this photoblog soon;)
What a great recap of 2010! You can tell how much everyone has grown - physically and spiritually ;) Kate is such a tenderhearted, sweet girl! May you be blessed in 2011! And start juicing again!! lol.....

ReplyDeleteIncredible photos - all of them!
ReplyDeleteLove the fervor your children have for their Lord...
ReplyDeleteLOVE that last shot of Kate!! That speaks volumes of her faith...a faith she has learned from her family. Just love it!
ReplyDeletePS your "bad" pics....make my good ones look yucko!! I wish I knew half of what you knew to get great pics like you do!
This is so random but your juice photo reminded me that I keep forgetting to ask you something. When you juice, are you able to save it in the fridge for a few days or do you need to drink it asap. I bought a juicer a year or more ago but have only used it a few times because I do not have room for it on my counter. But I am thinking if I can maybe limit my use to two or three days a week, I might be more inclined to stick to juicing.
ReplyDeleteThanks and happy new year!

What a great year in review. I love every one of the beautiful photos, but my favorite has to be the one of Kate kneeling to pray in that beautiful dress. I love that shade of blue. Hope you don't mind, but I loved this idea so much that I did a similar post.

I've never heard of the 365 project before. Is it supposed to be 365 posts in a year or 365 posted pictures in a year or...?
