I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. I am very busy sitting in front of the fire watching movies with my family, playing games, reading, baking cookies, going to the zoo (in the freezing cold), taking Harry to antique stores (his new obsession) taking the dogs to the dog park and listening to Harry and Kate's piano concerts (Harry taught himself how to play two songs on the piano this week...he has never played or had a lesson before).
I will muster up the energy to post about Christmas Eve and Christmas day very soon. They were fabulous! I am too busy being lazy for now. In fact, I am presently being summoned to a very important tea party.
Several of you asked about my Bible reading plan. I am beyond excited that some of you are going to give it a try. Go for it. You will be so glad you did!!! Some books were really tough to get through but I am so glad I stayed the course. Here is the link: Discipleship Reading Plan
I liked having a paper to check each day's readings off and make notes.
Back soon:)

I so hope you stick to your plan and start up the helpful life hints from Kim site.... :) you have a way with taking a little information and offering a ton of good advice and encouragement. Ahhhhh.....your busyness sounds a lot like mine :) I think we have played 976 games of UNO and watched 17 full football games on TV. Baked cookies, went sledding..lots and lots of coffee and PJ time! I am exhausted from all my relaxing ;)
ReplyDeleteI won't be doing the Bible reading plan, but I do think you've inspired me to try reading every weekly Torah portion for 2011. I'm really excited to be giving it a try! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear that you are taking time out for yourself and your family! You deserve it!! Isn't is just so completely wonderful to be "lazy" once in a while? It almost feels unnatural! ENJOY every moment!
ReplyDeleteIt feels great to relax after the busyness of the holidays. Enjoy!!!
ReplyDeleteLove that photo. Your tree is really beautiful! Wondered where you found that garland...I need a silvery/glass garland for our tree and don't know where to find something that is nicer than tinsel. If you recall, let me know. Thanks!
Thank you for the reading plan, I just printed it. I'm off to buy a new study bible today...Happy New Year!
