Do not feed the Alligators

Sunday, October 3, 2010
We had the most beautiful weather here this weekend (high 70's and low 80's) so we decided to spend some time outside having "family fun."  (Harry thinks we don't have enough family fun.)

Saturday we went to our big city park to feed to the ducks. (Harry was at a movie with a friend so we had fun without him;)...

We even brought Scout with us and she loved it.  She doesn't get out much;)

I didn't get any good photos of them feeding the ducks because I accidentally sat in a BIG WET pile of Duck poop! YUCK!

Then after Mass on Sunday, we all went to a state park known for alligator watching!!!

Harry and Kate were a little nervous.

Notice how Dave is holding onto Kate?  This is what/who was right below her!

Kate would not smile for this photo until I mentioned candy and then a smile immediately appeared (see photo below).  I think I may have taught her something very bad.

I only had my point and shoot at the alligator park so some of these are not so good.

Yup. There is a playground right near the alligators.

I hope y'all had a beautiful weekend.  I sure do miss the Northern Autumns this time of year.

  3. WOW. What precious pics. And I am somehow relieved that I am not the only one who occasionally buys a smile with a piece of candy.

  5. Love, love, love family fun.
My 5 year old likes to say whiskey (instead of cheese) - it always cracks him up. One little bitty parenting blunder that will haunt me forever. Sigh.

  12. Hi Kim, It looks like you had a great weekend enjoying the beautiful weather!

Kate looks awfully brave hanging over that bridge.... no wonder Dave was hanging on to her.

I just bought Reagan and Sarah that blue gingham dress that Kate is wearing! I am going to add some red accessories and it will be the outfit both girls wear when we land in the US:) I have been searching high and low for something and just saw them this weekend and knew that they would be perfect!

Hope you have a wonderful week~

    xoxo,

    Lisa
