Easter 2010 {Sunday Snapshot}

We had a mostly lovely weekend around here. On Saturday we went to the beach and spent time with Uncle Joe and Aunt Wakita.

It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. The boat motor did overheat and we were stuck drifting out in the bay for a little while. I DID panic internally just a bit. But the motor cooled down, the issue was resolved and we made it back safely. Whew.

Easter Sunday was a very nice day too. We all slept in a little bit and then checked out the Easter baskets. Dave had to help the Easter bunny this year since I could not shop. He did a great job.

Then we dined on Daddy's french toast and got ready for Mass. Of course, I had to take some photos before Mass....

When we got home, Dave did some painting in Kate's room (photos soon) and I stuffed 83 eggs for our hunt.

We ended the day with delicious rotisserie chicken (Dave did them on the grill rotisserie), haricots verts and garlic mashed potatoes. Harry led us in a beautiful prayer. It was a lovely day.
