Quick Update on Nickie

Wednesday, February 10, 2010

I know so many of you are praying for Nickie and we are so appreciative. She is still in critical condition and still really needs prayers. She has had some improvements and some set-backs too. Pray for her fever to go away and the antibiotics to work. Please pray for peace for Nickie as well as I am sure this is so stressful. Thank you.

P.S. Several of you asked about the prayer journal. It is from Dayspring. And for those of you who asked, the plates were from various TJ Maxx and Marshalls stores and they were very well priced.

  2. Thanks for the update, Kim and the prayers will continue.

I read your previous posts and have been thinking about you (and more importantly what *I* can give up for lent) I remember this from last year and LOVED that you shared what you were giving up! And the message that folks don't have to be catholic to recognize that we can all give something up - to make room for GOD!

    Hmm.

My time is running out on my brainstorming. I was thinking blogging/computer time altogether - but I really wanted to follow Di to get Sienna!! I can't miss that - just can't do it!!

I could stand to give up shopping as well.

    Or sweets.

Thanks for the thought provoking posts - keep 'em coming!

    hugs to you!
    Sara

  7. Lord Jesus Christ, You chose to share our human nature, to redeem all people, and to heal the sick. With this in mind I beg You to look with compassion on Your humble servant Nickie. Support her with Your power, comfort her with Your protection, and give her the strength needed to fight against pneumonia. Bless her, Heal her and Return her FULLY RESTORED to her family who loves her and understandebly wants her home. This I humbly ask in Your Name.....Amen
