Nie Nie on Oprah today and a WINNER!

Wednesday, October 7, 2009

Nie Nie is a real life inspiration. She is a woman I have admired for a long time. Last year, she and her husband were in a devastating plane crash. Watching the way their families and the blogging community rallied around them was truly a miracle. Her painful journey back to ordinary life with her four children has been a blessing to watch. So, try to catch Oprah today or DVR it! Nie Nie has fans all around the world but this appearance has not been hugely publicized and I know I would have been so sad if I missed it.

And big THANKS to all of you who are helping to bring Isabella home (See post below). You are wonderful! Congratulations to Trena for winning the bracelet. Let me know what size and which pattern and I will have it sent to you. I used random.org to pick a number:)

Here are your random numbers:

  20. OM Goodness....I'm just spending a lazy evening blog hopping and was sucked into her blog for the last 20 minutes! What an amazing person she is! Thanks for sharing her blog.

(Although I'm feeling a little sheepish as I've been wallowing in my "poor me" attitude today....even, knowing how incredibly blessed we are. Thanks for unknowingly giving me the kick in the pants I so needed!)
