Thank you for all of the great feedback from the last post. I am so glad that many of you could benefit from our situation. I was overwhelmed by all of the private comments and e-mails. Thank you.
I have found so many times that transparency brings people out of the woodwork... so many quietly live through difficulties, feeling too vulnerable to share those challenges with others. I'm glad you found a sense of community and support with your post.
Have fun at the beach. We moved from FL to MS and the beaches are not so clean here so we really miss it. My girls have the same swimsuit as Kate's, they have used it and abused it this summer and loved it:-)
As a third grade teacher, I totally understand that every child is different and what seems to be the correct way to discipline one child is not suitable for all...kids are so tricky! On a side note, I have been enjoying your site for so long (our daughter Kate is adopted from Chongqing, China!)& it has been so helpful...just diagnosed with gluten allergies and milk allergies at 37...enjoy looking at old posts with recipes, etc...it is a total life changing experience & your guidance has made it easier! Enjoy your trip!
Oh, the water is so beautiful. So happy you get your week at the beach. I hope you all have a wonderful time filled with new sweet memories. We miss our annual Peanut reunion.
Kim, Your colors are just fantastic in these photos! I am so excited for you to be where you are right now!! Wish I was at the beach too. Looking forward to seeing you ALL soon!!!
Enjoy, enjoy. Nothing better than a week at the beach. And of course my middle guy has the same swim shorts. We are kindred spirits! I know you are away and probably not checking the computer a lot...but when you get back look for my on the Lilly website with my cancer survivor story. I am so excited!
Such great times and wonderful photos to remember them by. Oh, how I miss all our beach trips. We use to spend 2 weeks every summer at the beach when my boys were younger and they were always the best times. Can't get anyone to go with me these days - College boys certainly don't want to be hanging with their mom beach side ;)
