Harry, the entrepreneur

Sunday, July 12, 2009

Harry is always thinking of a way to earn money.  He has scrubbed baseboards.  He has been an issue solver and rock seller.  He has made homemade jam and clay pots. He has hosted shell and rock sales in front of our house.  He and Will often transform their rooms into "museums" (mineral, science, stuffed animals).  He has been a guru and offered nightly entertainment.

I am telling you this kid has a new idea for earning money every day. He never seems to run out of ideas for his small businesses.  Last week, Harry opened a Spa in his bathroom.

Harry's Spa

He is no fool...he knew that Kate, our occasional babysitter and I would all pay to receive his services.

He washed my hair...

Then I got a great blow dry (as Kate watched).
After my hair was finished (which looked GORGEOUS;), Harry gave me a luxurious massage.  If you are ever in the area, I would highly recommend his spa. Of course, I am sure that by next week, he will have a new venture!

  5. Too cute! What a smart boy. Not sure I would want my boys to do my hair (they can barely brush their own), but Harry looked like he did a super job.

  6. LOL oh my goodness is he too cute!!! He reminds me of myself. I opened up a dentist office when I was his age. I was also in the business of selling flavored ice cubes, homemade cakes (they were gross) and I charged the kids to use our pool (my parents were upset with me for this one) LOL
    I need a new hairstylist...I tip well!!! : )

  8. That is so cute. Aiden had a lego store set up and was selling legos to us the other day. Morgan gave him a ten dollar bill. It was cute and he did give it back to her. Our kiddos are so smart and know they will be great business men some day.
