Okay, y'all remember how my day started last Thursday? Well, this is how it ended.....
I gave her playdough in her high chair so I could make a quick phone call. Lesson learned.
On a more positive note, she is feeling much better and is regaining her appetite.
Oh and playdough comes right out with shampoo and water (I didn't know that at first~I googled it)!
Isn't it funny, though, how things are put into perspective. After how much you worried about Kate hurting herself, a little play-doh is really no big deal (although I am sure at the time, it was frustrating to get it out!). And, if nothing else, it made for an adorable little photo-story :)
ReplyDeleteAt least it wasn't gum.
ReplyDeleteOh...she's just so precious even with her hair full of play-doh. I'm so glad to hear that Kate is feeling better. My little girls both had the knees of their pants caked in play-doh this afternoon. They had the doh open in the family room and were making ice-cream sundaes with it while I did laundry. Thankfully, it usually cleans up pretty easily...unless they squish it into the rush seats of the kitchen chairs :(
ReplyDeletenot everyone can look so wonderful with playdough in their hair, but Kate pulls it off well;)
ReplyDeleteChloe had silly putty in her hair not long ago, very yuck and no fun to get out.
Glad Kate is feeling better.
Does it wash out?
ReplyDeleteOh, Kim! That's a hilarious picture! I'm so glad to see you take pictures of EVERYTHING, like I do. The good AND the bad... It definitely makes for a more authentic photo album when all is said and done. I've never had to deal with playdough in hair...

Hey at least she was in the "chair"
ReplyDeleteYikes! I hope that came out more easily than it looks like it would! Sweet Kate... I hope this means she's feeling a little better.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, she really did a job with that playdough. I'm so glad to hear she's feeling better.
ReplyDeleteGin =)
How hard was it to get playdoh out of hair? She looks so cute - like she knows she's in for some fun getting it out.
ReplyDeleteGlad she's on the mend!
I was so worried it was gum at first glance-thank goodness it was just playdough :)
ReplyDeleteOohh, that gave me the giggles!! That totally looks like something that could happen at my house!! Glad it came right out!
ReplyDeleteLOL....at first glance I thought it was gum....thank goodness it was playdoh.
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear she is feeling better and getting her appetite back!
Hope you all have a good week!

This sweet angel needs to get well so she can play outside! Poor little thing....she has been cooped up for days.
ReplyDeleteYikes!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely color of playdoh that Miss Kate chose : ) My girls play with playdoh almost daily...I really dislike the mess...but they love it and it's good for Livi's sensory.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to hear that Kate is feeling better {{{{hug}}}}
Now that would have been an excellent fashion choice had the playdough been pink. I'm just saying...
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny! What a mess! I'm so glad it washed out!!
ReplyDeleteGlad that Kate is starting to feel better! Playdough -- yuck!! M once had fingernail polish painted in her hair by neighbor girls -- nightmare to get out!
ReplyDeleteHope you all have a good week!
Janet
Thanks for the warning!!! I will make sure it's Cheerios and not play dough!!! She looks adorable though!!! Glad to hear she is starting to feel better.

Hmmmm, Mia hasn't tried that one yet :) Glad Kate is doing a bit better!
ReplyDeleteI am thinking those pearls look pretty cute on her with playdough hair. Libby LOVES playdough. She plays with it every single day. It is messy though! I am forever vacuuming it from under the kitchen chairs. No hair episodes yet thank heavens. Hope she's feeling better. You too. Are you getting stir crazy? Blogging is the mommy equivalent of playdough!
ReplyDeleteOh no! At least it was easy to get out :)
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for google!! It is wonderful to know that playdough is easy to remove from hair, unlike gum!!!! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteTimes like this you need to play, "You're Gonna Miss This," by Trace Adkins...
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear Kate if feeling better!
