Great blessings

Tuesday, December 9, 2008

I had been hoping that my friend, Lauren (I know some of you follow her blog too) would welcome her son on December 8th.  It was her due date and Harry's birthday.  But it is also the Feast of the Immaculate Conception~ a feast of divine grace.  Lauren and her husband Bob have shown incredible grace and faith as they have been such an example of God's love after the death of their first born son, Robbie.  I truly do not think any one person has influenced my spiritual growth more than Lauren.

So, please help me congratulate them and welcome.........

Caleb Robert who was born at 11:47 p.m. on December the 8th.  He made it in just the nick of time!  You can click over to Lauren's site for photos

Happy Birthday Caleb!

You have the best Mommy and Daddy (and big sister and a brother in heaven)!

After I drafted this post, I got a call that our former babysitter (from when Harry was a newborn) and now our dear friend, Michelle also welcomed her

TWINS

Isaac and Ella

into the world on December 8th at around 11:30 p.m.! We love Michelle and her husband Joel. Michelle has been special to our family for 8 years now.  She even came to visit us in Virginia twice and she has been so kind since we returned to Houston.  I cannot wait to go see the twins!  They are in the NICU and will be in the hospital for a while but they are doing well.  What a special day!!!!
