Karen and Dave went to boarding school together 25 years ago (yes, they're old-LOL!). They have remained good friends all of these years and Karen and I became friends too when Dave and I began dating. Who would have ever guessed that 25 years later...they would be bathing their adopted daughters from China together. Talk about one long red thread! Karen received her referral for Becky on the one year anniversary of Kate Emerson coming home! Becky came home from China 6 months ago and we had not met her yet. So Karen and Becky flew in from California to visit us.
Becky is so beautiful. She is very dainty and petite.
The next day, we went to the zoo....
Two gals ready to take on the Houston Zoo!
Kate was not sharing her kolache.
It was quite a tragedy when the pigeons stole it a little while later.
Kolaches are DELICIOUS breakfast pasty type things (some sweet, some savory).
Watching the giraffes.
Becky was a little shy in the petting zoo.
As you can see from the next few shots, Kate was not shy at all!
You really want me to brush this goat?
That is kinda funny Mama!
Stay tuned for part two.
That is SO cute! Love the pictures :)
