I know this one is totally out of focus but look how happy he is!
Harry was simply radiating JOY when he finished!
Will
Will did an amazing job!
Kate played and cheered her brothers on. She LOVES going to Judo!
I am afraid she is going to choose it over the ballet I want to choose for her!
I am so proud of you Will and Harry.
The title of this post is a little family joke. Naga-waze is the Japanese term for the Judo throws. Whenever Dave and I are having a friendly bicker, we say...watch out or I'll naga-waze you:) It immediately makes us both laugh.
Unfortunately, our friends who were supposed to be visiting this weekend had their flights cancelled due to mechanical problems. We are so sad that they will miss our special Mother's Day activities. But hopefully, we will still get to see them late tomorrow evening.
Happy Mother's Day to everyone!
What a sweet post....have a wonderful Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteGreat Pictures and I am sure that the boys did AWESOME! I think Kate would be so cute at Judo - Yeah - so cute!
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy Mother's Day :D
Ladybug hugs,

ReplyDeleteWhat fun pictures Kim! So sorry that your friends were not able to come and visit this weekend! I hope you have a very Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteOh Kim - these pictures are amazing. Good for the boys!! Emily began with Karate - she is now a budding ballerina...all in good time, all in good time:)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Love,
Heather
Happy Mother's Day to you, Kim! Hope it is a beautiful day filled with love and NO naga-wazes! hehe
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of your boys doing Judo - it really is obvious that they both love it!
And, Kate would look ADORABLE following in their footsteps...although, she would also make an adorable ballerina!!
How fun...
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of fun...
LOVE the family picture..
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY....
Kim, don't worry about Kate - she will look cute in the little Judo outfit!! Congrats, boys!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day!
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! The pictures are great -- the smiles are contagious!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS WILL AND HARRY!!! THAT IS AN AMAZING ACCOMPLISHMENT!!
ReplyDeleteKIM I AM TOTALLY WITH YOU ON THE ACTIVITIES THING. WE LIMIT THE BOYS TO ONE ACTIVITY AT A TIME AND IT IS STILL CRAZY WITH THAT. SOMETIMES I FEEL BAD THAT THEY ARE NOT IN ALL THE ACTIVITIES THEIR FRINDS ARE IN BUT I FEEL SO STRONGLY THAT THEY HAVE DOWN TIME TO JUST HANG OUT AFTER SCHOOL, DO HOMEWORK, PLAY WITH FRIENDS AND RELAX. I ALSO FEEL VERY STRONGLY THAT WE WILL EAT DINNER EVERY NIGHT TOGETHER AS A FAMILY AROUND THE TABLE. I GREW UP WITH THAT AND WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE CUT THAT OUT OF THEIR FMAILY LIFE BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO BUSY WITH ALL THE ACTIVITIES AND THEY JUST LET THAT TIME GO. I REFUSE TO LET THAT GO. INFACT KEVIN DOES NOT GET HOME FROM WORK UNTIL 7:15PM AND WE WAIT TILL HE WALKS THROUGHT THE DOOR EVERYNIGHT TO HAVE DINNER. I KNOW IT IS LATE (AND OFTEN FEED MIA BEFORE THEN) BUT WE VALUE DINNER AS A FAMILY THAT MUCH THAT WE DONT EAT UNTIL LATE. ANYWAY, I FEEL VERY STRONGLY THAT CHILDREN ARE OVERSCHEDULED AND I REFUSE TO HAVE MY KIDS BE THAT WAY-- OK NOW I WILL GET OFF MY SOAPBOX :)
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO YOU!!
CHRISTY :)
Wonderful photos! I have heard that judo is a wonderful activity that promotes discipline.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day to you Kim.
Happy Mother's Day Kim!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. Their joy just shines through :)
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY FRIEND!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Will & Harry! Way to go!!!!
Hugs,
Diana
Wonderful post.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day!
Lea
Hi there!
ReplyDeleteI've been reading your blog for awhile but never left a comment. My family has a little girl adopted domestically and now we are in the beginning stages for another! I love love your blog!
Great pics and I love the family photo! I'd love Oakley to take dance, but right now, she's all about soccer. Having three older brothers that play ... it's really all she knows:).
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome family. They look so happy.
ReplyDelete;)
I love the pictures of the judo match!! And the family picture at the end!! How great is that!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mothers day!!
Debbie
Oh...what a fun, proud Mommy (and Daddy) day! Congratulations to your boys for their accomplishments and for the hard work that led them there. How do you instill that is what I would like to know?? By example I am sure. When I see parents getting it right (like you and Dave), I just want to sit you down and take notes!! :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day to you! I hope you had the most wonderful of days!!
Congratulations to the boys - well done!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day!
Way to go, Will and Harry! We are soooo with you on one activity at a time. Dinner as a family is way more important!
ReplyDeleteLove the story behind the title of your post! I can just see you and Dave saying that to each other. Very funny!
Hope you had a great Mother's Day!
Hope your Mother's Day was special like you! I have a feeling it was. Great post.
ReplyDeleteI love that the boys are passionate about the activity they are involved in. Like you, we choose carefully as well and don't over do. It saddens me sometimes to see kids that don't have a minute of downtime and are exausted.
Happy Mother's Day to you too Kim!! I love these photos from your special Judo day!!! The family pic is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!!!
:)
Woohoooo Guys! I know you must be so proud!
ReplyDeleteI hope your day was extra special.
Congrats to the boys. They both look like they are loving Judo.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day!
Congrats to the boys! Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day with your beautiful family!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Will and Harry!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful family picture!
ReplyDeleteI love the Judo pictures...and Will and Harry sure seem to love doing it!! I also love the family picture! Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun. My little brother was in Judo a loooooooog time ago! ;) I don't have kids but I SO agree with you on limiting activities. It's crazy what some families endure to keep everyone busy, too busy in my opinion. Growing up, dinner together was important for my parents so I appreciate the importance. I wish more families would make it a priority today!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that they are involved in something they love so much! Ethan is the same way about his classes and it's so awesome to see him work so hard!
ReplyDeleteGreat job Will and Harry~ way to go!!
