Thankful Thursday Giggles
Thursday, July 26, 2007
Two fellow bloggers host Thankful Thursdays. One is Sting my Heart and a newer one is Three Thanks that Heather initiated. I like the tradition of taking a day out to think about what we are grateful for.
Here is my list:
I am thankful that my husband tries very hard to lighten my load.
I am thankful that Kate Emerson has settled into an afternoon nap routine again:) Well, does 3 days in a row make a routine?
I am thankful that today was the LAST day of swim team practice. That was a HUGE commitment with a new baby!
I am thankful that tomorrow my boys will swim in champs!
I am thankful for a healthy family. I have been hearing about so many people being ill or getting diagnosed with cancer lately. I thank God that we are in good health right now.
I am thankful for the wonderful conversation I had yesterday with a blog friend, Danielle. We have e-mailed before but it was the first time we ever spoke. Kate was sleeping, the boys were playing and we gabbed for an hour and a half! It was as though we had known each other for years. She is such a sweet person.
I am thankful that I have the opportunity to stay home with the peanuts. Even though it is the hardest job I have ever done, I am lucky to be able to do it.
I am thankful for the laughter in our house everyday (well almost everyday)!
What are you thankful for?
That was great. It is always so nice to focus on all of the GOOD things in life. And hearing your baby laugh is one of the best, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteBaby giggles are the BEST! We all have so much to be thankful for. Like you, I am so blessed to be able to be a SAHM but man it is so hard sometimes.

Baby giggles always bring it all in to perspective! Great list.

Kim the video is priceless!! How sweet!!! We have so much to be thankful for!!
ReplyDeleteI always love your thankful Thursdays, and am so humbled that you're thankful for me. I am also SO thankful for the time I was able to spend talking to you. I absolutely loved talking to you--you are as wonderful, sweet, selfless, caring, and considerate as I thought you'd be. I am thankful that your boys play so well together and that Kate napped. And I am very thankful that you chose to spend the little time you do have talking to me.
ReplyDeleteThat video is so precious! Kate is such a sweetheart. I'm so thankful that she needed that new diaper and that I was able to hear her sweet little voice on the phone.
Since you have 10 other questions to ask me we will have to talk again soon :) You know my schedule so you can pretty much call any time. You know I'd love to hear from you. I also have some other questions for you, too and a few other things I'd love to discuss.
I'm glad you like my new blog design! I was just messing around with it and I like it too (for now).
Danielle

ReplyDeleteThat was wonderful, Kim. I too, stop and think about all the things I am thankful for. Adoption changes your life and perspective ....at least I think so.
