Poem

Sunday, July 8, 2007

I know that most you who read here are Moms and I thought you might enjoy this poem. I LOVE this frame and it sums up exactly how I felt about Kate coming home to our family. It says," You are the poem I dreamed of writing ..the masterpiece I longed to paint. You are the shining star I reached for in my ever hopeful quest for life fulfilled. You are my child. Now with all things I am blessed." Isn't that amazing? The photo does not do it justice but it looks incredible in her room. It looks much better if you click on it to enlarge. ADDED: Several people have asked who makes this. It is made by Sugarboo Designs and you can customize the quote and color. They have a variety of really beautiful verses that would be great for children, weddings, family etc. I got mine at Williams and Sherrill in Richmond, VA. There is a link in the text above for the Sugarboo website.
So, this is what my little blessing is up to now. She loves to push this thing around and she climbs completely up the stairs. She is constantly on the go!

  2. Kim,

I love that frame, and the photo you chose to put inside it. It really is a beautiful and very fitting message. That is one of my favorite photos I have seen of Kate!

She looks so big standing up! She's SO cute! And I love that outfit. Then again, I love all her outfits.

  4. Kimber - wow. That is simply lovely. How sweet to have all that in words and your darling's lovely face in the center of it all... exactly like life.

  5. Oh Kim, Thank you so much for sharing that! It was beautiful! I love the picture that you put in it and any picture would have worked because Kate is yours :D

It is hard to believe that she is up and going, they grow up way to fast! Couldn't sleep last night and I was looking at "old" pictures of Ian and LiLi from last summer. Katie Ru is beautiful and she is very lucky to have a family that will help her grow with a spirit of beauty on the inside as well.
