A certain someone is turning

She came in our room at 7 am sweetly wondering if we forgot to bring her birthday doughnut in bed.

We did not forget.  We were sleeping:)

She got back in bed.  We got things ready...

Dave did a funny little dance for Kate. It made her laugh!  I might have been laughing too as I snapped this:)

Kate is a great little baker.  She can really do it all...butter and flour the pans, measure and pour ingredients and beat the cake.  She even adds the eggs in minus any shell.

Kate wants to go bowling and have real spaghetti (not gluten free but I will stick to gluten free for just me) and meatballs and sausage with my homemade sauce for dinner.

P.S. The cake just came out of the oven and it smells like heaven!

    Oh Happy Birthday sweet girl and what a special morning!!!!! Love it all.....the pretty bed, pillows, hat, jammies, tray, doughnut and especially the bedhead ~ all just lovely!!!!:)
    That CAKE....looks divine and I just might have to try that one!:)
