I am under the weather. When I get really run down, my body always reacts in the same way. I get an excruciatingly big canker sore on the back right side of my throat which makes it so painful with every swallow. It hurts to talk, to eat, and breathe. And my whole body feels completely worn out. However, I still have a million commitments this week so I have to keep going (at least a little bit). Anyway, I apologize for not getting the pictures up but I am so tired and so busy. I am off to the doctor this morning. I have a lot to post so I'll be back as soon as I have the energy.
Chin up butter cup! Praying you heal fast!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. I just love your blog. Kate's party looked amazing. Can't wait to see the rest of the pictures. Get well soon!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so sorry to hear that you are down and out! It sounds like your canker sore torture is different than mine was, but I thought I'd share a little advice anyway on the chance that you know anyone else who struggles with them.
ReplyDeleteI used to get canker sores all the time. Big, awful ones. And once one would finally start to go away, I'd feel another one coming on. After about fifteen years of that, I read one of those "ask a doctor" columns in the newspaper. Apparently, almost every kind of toothpaste (and shampoo, for that matter) contains sodium laurel sulfate - or SLS for short. It doesn't do anything to clean your teeth - just creates the mass of bubbles that we equate with "clean." After some searching, I found a toothpaste that doesn't contain SLS - Sensodyne. Since I started using it two years ago, I haven't had a canker sore since. Just my little public service announcement. :)
Hope that you're soon back to feeling fabulous!
Feel better, take time to rest....so important to know when your body (and mind) needs to stop and chill and do absolutely nothing. You will be all the better for it..feel better:)
ReplyDeleteOh no! I totally know how you feel because when I get sick, I get the same thing. It's so incredibly painful and makes me feel bad all over. Wish I had tips on how to get rid of it faster, but I haven't found anything.
ReplyDeleteRest, and feel better soon!
Hoping you feel much better very soon. :)
