The Christmas Cookies

Friday, December 23, 2011
So this was a big tradition in my family growing up.  We made Grandma's butter cookies every year. And while they are not that pretty, they are DELICIOUS!!!  We have not made them since 2007 due to the boys food restrictions for all those years but we were able to make them again this year!!!

Here is one of my little bakers all set to go....

Dave hand mixes the dough in that big stainless pot.  You have to be strong to mix it!

We use the cookie press my Grandma sent my Mom.  It is at least 45 years old....

(I just noticed that I have Kate's bracelet on:)
Someone asked about my nail polish...it is Essie Cocktail Bling. Got it at Target and get tons of compliments on it.

Isn't this platter cute?  A friend made it for us a few years ago in Virgina.

  2. Our cookie press may bit a bit older than yours! We tried a newer model and just doesn't work as well. Looks like fun!
