3 Peanuts: Kate's Ballet Birthday Party

We celebrated Kate's 5th birthday a few weeks early with a precious ballerina party. Kate LOVES ballet and so we had her ballet teacher come to the house for the party. I know there are a lot of photos but I could post 100 photos because the girls were all so adorable. Everything about the party was just so fun...I want to remember everything. We did forget to give Kate her gift and give the girls the ice cream I bought but still it was priceless!

Look at how HAPPY Kate looks:)

My boys were so helpful and so cute...they were in the adjoining room watching through the glass doors...

The girls had SO much fun dancing. They danced for an hour. In fact, we kind of ran out of time for other things:)

I bought these wands at hobby Lobby. I painted them and mode podeged the girls' initials on them...

Then, they decorated them and put ribbons/streamers on them....

My Mom flew in for the weekend to help us celebrate:)

Harry had to leave the party a few minutes early to rush off to his soccer game so he was gone for this shot. In fact, we raced out to his game just moments later too.

Oh my gosh! This is so over the top amazing. Truly a little girls dream party without a doubt.
Now about that cake...did you make that? It is so beautiful and ruffly, just like all the little ballerinas.

What a great idea for a little girl's party. I love all the details, actovites, etc. You are a very creative MOM. Kate just beams with happiness. And the boys observing the fun simply priceless. Pictures are wonderful I could see all 100 of them:) Thanks for sharing!!!

Oh, Kim - everything was so, so beautiful! What a CLEVER idea to have the ballet teacher come & dance with the girls! I love it! Do they all have the same tutu on? Did you order them and just tell them to come in a leotard? i LOVE the cake and the decorations. AND the smile on Kate's face. Everything looked perfect - I am glad - it was fit for a princess!

So fun to see your Mom! Have we met her before?! lol. I am glad she was able to be there for the ballerina's birthday!

SO darling! Kate looks so happy...and Harry in his coat KILLS me, he is so sweet!
I have a picture saved of that exact cake for a party someday...I love it!

Precious!!! Ok, the pic of Kate beaming from ear to ear brought tears to my eyes...seriously! Flash back to the picture of her in a walker in the middle of the road and look at her now. What a miracle adoption is for everyone. Such a special birthday fit for a princess. BTW, the pic of her on her toes ... ummm, she will be on pointe in no time! WOW! :)

This looks PERFECT!!! I realize I'm 28, and my birthday was a few weeks ago... but i totally want a re-do and I want a ballerina birthday party!!!!!!!! Kate is precious! The flowers, the cake, the pink poufs... it was absolutely beautiful! Great job!

SO adorable! My daughter (3.5) was in awe of the pictures! She loves ballet and now wants a ballet birthday party! Don't think it would come close to Kate's party! You are an amazing Mom!
