Party Planning Inspiration

Wednesday, June 2, 2010
When I see images on line that I love, I "collect" them for future inspiration. In planning Kate's Princess Tea Party these are the images I have amassed. I feel quite certain Kate's Princess Tea Party will not be as dreamy as all of these images but they sure have inspired me.
I can hardly believe my little Kate turns 4 tomorrow!
My creation

Katie~the little cookies above are French macaroons filled with chocolate ganache.
They are even gluten free!
I am going to try to make them.
We'll see how it goes!

I made each of the girls a pearl and swarovski crystal bracelet as their napkin ring.

I am doing lots of little crafty things (for me anyway~I am not so crafty) and making all of the food myself (except for the cake). It has been a lot of work but I am having so much fun. I sure hope I get it all done in time for Saturday. I might be sad when it is over:) I am off to make pink flower pom poms!

  25. For an allegedly "not so crafty" person, you are quite talented! Everything looks beautiful and Kate will just love looking at the photos from her party years from now remembering how you put it all together for her.

PS. And we're expecting pictures after the big day. Obviously.

  29. I LOVE the bracelet napkin rings! I may have to keep this one in mind for Meggie's annual holiday tea party this year. Both "Meaghan" and "Minzhu" (Meg's chinese name) mean pearl. Meg is always wearing pearls:) It may be late but one of my favorites from Meg's princess tea party at Christmas this year were cupcakes baked in tea cups. The children loved them and they looked so pretty on the table:) Enjoy your day and give the birthday girl a big hug from Meaghan Grace! Thinking of you all on Saturday. Michelle and Meggie
