Our week

Sunday, October 25, 2009

I am shocked that a week has flown by again. Life is just busy, busy, busy. Everything is good. Here is what we have been up to lately.

Miss Kate learned to write a K, so she wrote about 300 on our driveway....

She is so proud of herself. She can also write the rest of the letters in her name and she is very close to putting them in the correct order.

I finally finished my "Boo" pumpkins. I put the letters on the opposite side in reverse too. Harry thinks it is a riot to turn them around so one side reads "BOB" and the other reads "OOO" That Harry!

Speaking of Harry, he had a busy week... two soccer games and a Judo tournament. He won 1st place in the Judo tournament and earned a big gold medal. We are very proud of him.

Fall has finally come to Texas and we enjoyed a beautiful day at the botanical gardens today....

  1. Dear Kim--I was just heading off to bed and thought--sometimes Kim updates on Sunday's--so I peeked in before I turned off the computer and so glad I did!!!Love the pix and updates!!!! Hope you don't mind but I'm trying to copy your pumpkin idea and my daughter desperately wants to make one for her 1st grade teacher--I am not craft challenged but VERY computer challenged--can you help me download templates??? I'll give you my e-mail since I do not have a blog!! Thanks--Barbarann

  3. all of these photos look so great. I especially love the one of the 3 peanuts holding hands. That could be your Christmas card! I love the pumpkin idea. I might have to whip that up this week before it is too late.

Quick Question: how are you liking your D700? I am getting a new camera and am leaning towards that one. I would love to know what you think of it. Also, are you editing your photos? I know that you didn't used to, or if you did, you did so in iphoto. If you don't, I am extremely impressed and the coloring and quality of your photos SOOC.
