"Spicy Chip!"

Monday, May 4, 2009

Go ahead...plant one right here!

Lately, Kate has been confusing her gendered pronouns. She will call the boys "she." Or Kate will ask me if Will is putting on her shoes instead of his shoes. So, the other day, I was reminding her that Will and Harry are boys and modeling the appropriate pronouns for her. Then I asked her...Is Will a boy or a girl? "He is a boy, Mommy." Yes, he is. Is Kate a boy or a girl?

She responded, "Kate is a spicy chip!"

That she is:)

P.S. I cannot thank you enough for all the prayers for Harry.  He is doing really well:)

  6. Eli is struggling with that too. He knows who is a boy and who is a girl, but he mixes up his pronouns.

Your photos are truly beautiful and inspire me to take better pictures.

I LOVE Kate's tutu. Is it from Danskin? Also, a while bag you had posted an adorable bow from Etsy. Please, please excuse me if I am confusing your blog with another one. I tried to find the post on your blog and cannot. I loved the bow but can't find the seller on Etsy. Could you please email the link to me?

    Thank you so much!

  35. Oh, I just cracked up when I read this. From the stories you tell, Kate definitely is a spicy chip! Go glad Harry is well and hope the rest of you are, too. I hope you've had decent weather there this week. It won't be long until the hot, humid summer arrives. I loved Houston when we lived there, but the weather did terrible things to my hair!
