The peanuts saying goodbye to the ocean on our last evening. Harry and Will were sitting at the edge of the water and I saw the photo -op, so Dave simply stuck Kate in there.
I love to have pizza in the early evening on the beach. This is a little family tradition we have whenever we go to the beach. We usually save it for the last day so we can linger as long as we'd like at the beach instead of getting cleaned up to go out to dinner. We don't eat pizza very often (even though I LOVE it) because of food allergies but we make an exception a few times a year.
Kate's first time sharing in our family tradition.

This guy really wanted to join in on our family tradition too. My camera scared him off before he got too close to our pizza.
Pizza on the beach, what in interesting tradition! Beautiful pictures, goodbye summer! :(
ReplyDeleteCould they be any sweeter....
ReplyDeleteI think not....
I know it was hard to say goodbye.
I miss you all.... boohoohooohooohooo
(I know... why don't you move to Hilton Head and then we can play often) Yep, that sounds like a grand idea! It's all settled then, I'll start house hunting for you... hehee
Great pictures as always. The one of Kate with her brothers is so touching.
ReplyDeleteFirst picture is priceless! Totally my fav!
ReplyDeleteOk, I so didn't need that first photo. You totally throwing me over the deep end on that one. There it is again, that ache in my heart that you seem to bring out in me the best. It's the older boy thing with the lil' China girl that gets me every time.
ReplyDeleteI love the photos Kim and I love that we never have to say goodbye to the ocean. Summers are the best and so is the beach!
Such sweet pics especially the first!
ReplyDeleteFood allergies huh? they can be not so fun. I was a GI pediatric nurse practitioner until I accepted the job teaching in a nursing school. One of MY LEAST favorite things to do was to call a parent with test results related to food allergies.
I am not really happy that summer is ending but I am looking forward to cooler temps (why can't it just stay about 75 with no humidity)?!!
Julie
oh the top picture is priceless!
ReplyDeleteI love the arms around each other. Especially that of Kate's around her brother.
ReplyDeletePizza looks yummy. What a fun family tradition

ReplyDeleteThese pics are absolutely precious! I love the first one. It is just the sweetest photo of the three of them.
ReplyDeleteWe are headed to the beach in two weeks with another family who has a daughter from the China the same age as Mallory. We can hardly wait. This will be our second summer to go with them and I am thinking we might have to do the pizza on the beach. That sounds like so much fun! What a fun tradition!
Your beach trip looks fabulous! I love family traditions ... we are big on them in our household, too. Your boys are most handsome and Kate is breathtaking!
ReplyDeleteI love the first picture, how long have you waited for that?! So glad that you had a nice time, your pictures are gorgeous, kids are beautiful and the pizza is making me hungry!
ReplyDeleteThat first picture should be enlarged and frame on your wall. That is absolutely beautiful. I am sad to see summer ending, but I'm really starting to look forward to fall and the fun activities that it brings!
